Agatha Christie's "Witness for the Prosecution" (A Reading)

Presented by Borelians Community Theatre
Performance: Saturday, February 25th at 8 pm
Set in England during the 1950s, Agatha Christie's courtroom thriller was a hit on both the London stage and on Broadway, where it ran for many years before being turned into a successful Hollywood film in 1958. A married man is accused of murdering a rich widow. The prosecuting lawyer sends his wife to the witness box to testify against him. She all but condemns him to his fate, until a mystery woman appears and completely discredits her, thus letting the man go free. It doesn't end there however, as there are more twists to come!
Critically acclaimed and enjoyed by countless audiences over the decades, Witness for the Prosecution is a delightful treat and not to be missed!
